About EHS Home-Base Services
If you are pregnant or have a child under the age of 3 years old and need childcare services, we have a free childcare program just right for you!
Our home-based Early Head Start (EHS) program is designed for families in which the home is the child's primary learning environment. The home-based option offers services in the private residence of the family receiving services and consists of 90 minute weekly home visits filled with high-quality child development and parent support services.
This home-based program includes socialization opportunities for children and families to engage in activities outside their home. The home-based program is structured to enhance the parent's knowledge and skills of being the teacher of their child's growth and development while offering:
Weekly home visits focusing on education and child development
Fun, interactive learning activities
Health and nutrition information
AEL provides equipment, materials, and activities suited to the age and stage of development of the child to support and stimulate the incredibly rapid physical and cognitive development of children this age including meals and snacks.
